Architectural Hub publishes editorial articles about architecture and related topics. This policy explains what information reaches our servers, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
What we collect and why
We run on WordPress and a standard hosting/CDN stack. We do not sell products, run ads, operate a newsletter, or use analytics services on this site. That limits what is collected.
- Basic server and CDN logs. When you load a page, the hosting environment and any content delivery network record technical details such as your IP address, user agent, the page requested, referrer, and the time of the request. These logs help operate the site, defend against abuse, and diagnose reliability and security issues.
- Administrator session data. WordPress sets cookies for the one registered site administrator so they can log in and manage content. Public registration is closed.
- Comments (if you choose to post). Our articles can accept comments. If you submit one, WordPress stores the comment text, the name and email address you provide, your IP address, and the user agent string to help with moderation and site security. If you opt to save your details, WordPress places a convenience cookie in your browser so you don’t have to retype them on your next visit.
- Emails you send us. If you write to one of our published addresses, we receive the contents of your message and the email metadata needed to deliver and reply. We use this to handle your request, editorial pitches, partnership inquiries, DMCA claims, or privacy questions.
Cookies and local storage
We use very few cookies:
• WordPress sets session cookies for logged-in administrators. Visitors who do not log in do not receive those session cookies.
• If you leave a comment and choose to save your details, WordPress stores your name, email, and (optionally) website in cookies on your device for your convenience.
We do not run advertising, analytics, or newsletter tracking, and we do not use third-party marketing pixels. You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Because we rely only on essential and commenter-convenience cookies, you will not see a cookie consent banner on this site.
Who sees your data
Access to personal data is limited:
- Site administrators who manage content and moderate comments.
- Our hosting provider and content delivery network, which process server requests and maintain logs as part of providing the service.
- Email providers that transmit messages you send to our published addresses.
- Courts, regulators, or law enforcement if we are legally required to disclose information.
How long we keep it
• Comments and their metadata are kept for as long as the comment remains published. You may request removal at any time.
• Administrator account data is kept while the account exists.
• Emails you send us are retained for as long as needed to handle the conversation and maintain reasonable records.
• Server and CDN logs are kept only as long as necessary for operations and security, then deleted or aggregated. Exact durations depend on the hosting configuration.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we process information based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Children
Architectural Hub is an editorial site for general audiences and is not directed to children. If you believe we have collected personal data from a child, contact [email protected] and we will address it.

Our hosting and email services may operate in multiple countries. By using the site or emailing us, your information may be processed in locations outside your jurisdiction. We apply reasonable measures to protect data during transfer and storage.
Changes to this policy
